The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has reported total revenues of 59.06 billion peso (approximately HK$7.95 billion) in the first half of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%. Its net income reached 10.79 billion peso (approximately HK$1.45 billion) in the period, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 64.3%.
PAGCOR attributed this growth to a record total gambling revenue of 214.75 billion peso during the first half of the year. Meanwhile, its operating expenses were 12.83 billion peso, a decrease of 17.9% compared to the same period last year. PAGCOR’s total contribution to national development for the first half reached 38.1 billion peso, an increase of 20% year-on-year.
PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco stated that the organization will continue to focus on strengthening the regulatory framework to ensure that revenue from regulated gambling continues to benefit the public.
Earlier, PAGCOR reported that licensed casinos in the Philippines generated a total gambling revenue of 93.36 billion peso in the first half, while electronic gaming revenue amounted to 114.83 billion peso, accounting for 53.5% of the total gambling revenue.
