Jeju Shinhwa World (582) announced that a Chinese female gambler had won a staggering 212 million KRW (approximately HKD 1.21 million) at their Three Card Poker table, with a bet of just 1,000 KRW (about HKD 5.70).

The woman, in her thirties, hit the rare royal flush—A, K, Q, J, 10, 9—whose occurrence probability is merely about 0.000154% on 15 May. This hand is the highest prize in the progressive jackpot category and marks the first royal flush jackpot since the casino opened in 2017, with the prize exceeding 100 million KRW for the first time.

Located in Jeju’s visa-free resort area, Jeju Shinhwa World is the largest of the eight foreigner-only casinos on the island, covering approximately 5,600 square meters with 166 gaming tables and 63 slot machines. According to government data, the casino is projected to generate 69.3 billion KRW (around HKD 395 million) in revenue in 2024, attracting around 127,000 visitors, second only to Jeju Dream Tower Casino.
