Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is hosting several major concerts featuring big names in the global entertainment industry including BLACKPINK and TREASURE in the coming month as part of its efforts to support the Macau government’s policy of economic diversification known as “Tourism Plus”.

With the steady recovery of the tourism industry, GEG has been actively introducing and organizing various entertainment events for Macau in a variety of ways to stimulate the local cultural and entertainment industry and enrich the connotation of Macau’s “World Tourism and Leisure Center”.

During the period from March to May, the Galaxy Arena and Broadway Theater are hosting a number of entertainment events, ranging from the world’s top pop-group BLACKPINK and the upcoming world concert tour by TREASURE, to shows and related events held by famous singers, artists and groups in Asia, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, providing a variety of spectacular performances from all over the world, to attract different types of tourists.

K-Pop groups TREASURE and BLACKPINK will come to Macau on 22 April and 20-21 May, respectively. The new Galaxy Arena, which has a seating capacity of 16,000, is one of the biggest indoor theatres in Asia.

In addition, a number of renowned singers and groups from South Korea, including pop band N.Flying, music talent B.I, Kim Han Pin, rock band FTISLAND, CNBLUE team leader, Jung Yong Hwa, and popular Thai male artists YCN and WAR, will also present a series of entertainment performances in the Broadway Theater.

Adhering to its service philosophy of “The World of Love Asia”, GEG has been actively supporting various entertainment events at its properties or in Macau; at the same time, it has launched various initiatives to help nurture local talents and promote the sustainable development of Macau’s entertainment and culture business. In 2022, the GEG Venue Partner Pilot Scheme supported a wide range of local community organizations to organize more than 30 events at GEG’s venues.
