Landing International recovers HK$95.5 million from lost fund and three suspects are arrested

Landing International (582), which owns and operates the casino resort Jeju Shinhwa World in South Korea, has recovered HK$95.5 million in cash of the HK$100 million (13.4 billion Korean won) that went missing on 4 January, said the company in a public statement.

According to the statement, the missing cash was found by the Jeju police, who tracked down three suspects connected with the case. The three people have been arrested and the recovered cash is now kept in police custody in accordance with legal procedures. The money will be returned to Landing International once the relevant administrative procedures are completed.

The Jeju police are now hunting for other accomplices of the three arrested suspects. The South Korean court has issued an arrest warrant for the accomplices and has also sought assistance from Interpol.
